The Unfaded Glory of Rome

“Rome is the city of echoes, the city of illusions, and the city of yearning.”

As a history student, Rome is always the city that I wanted to “pilgrimage.” Everything about this city never lets me down. Augustus, the Roman emperor found the city with bricks, so I caught glimpses of former glory in the archaeological remains of the Colosseum and Via dell'Impero. He also left the city with marbles. I saw some of the most exquisite and elegant sculptures in the world at the Musei Vaticani and Galleria Borghese. I try to portray my perception of this holy city through my lens. Welcome to my “Galleria su Roma.”
